Cloud consulting and advisory

Cloud decisions made with judgement: what you need, what you don't, and how to use it.

Choosing a provider, services and ways of working in the cloud is hard when every option has its own vocabulary and its own commercial interest.

AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OCI. We work inside your accounts and agree the scope in writing before we start.

01 · The problem

Problems we solve

  • You have three proposals from different vendors and none of them can be compared with the others.
  • Management asks why a technology was chosen and nobody can explain it clearly.
  • Every Cloud decision is made in a hurry, undocumented and without knowing what the alternatives were.
  • Your team is strong on product, but nobody has time to follow what AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or OCI offer.

When it fits

  • You need to decide on a provider, architecture or strategy and want a second opinion
  • Your team is small and needs expert judgement from time to time

02 · How we help

What we do and what you get

We help you compare options against your real needs, without pushing you towards any one provider. We can support your team on one-off decisions or on an ongoing basis.

What you get

Technical choices you can explain to management and sustain over time.

  • A technical second opinion: we assess your case with the same criteria for every provider.
  • Decisions you can defend: every recommendation comes with its alternatives and its reasoning in writing.
  • Less time lost: your team saves time comparing documentation and stays focused on the product.
  • Flexibility: use us for a single decision or as ongoing support, depending on what you need.

03 · Method

How we work, step by step

  1. Understanding the decision. We talk with you and your team to understand what has to be decided, why now and what constrains the choice. We need: one business and one technical contact who know the context.
  2. Gathering what already exists. We review documentation, third-party proposals and, if needed, your current environment in read-only mode. We need: the documents you have and, only where relevant, read permissions agreed in writing.
  3. Comparing and recommending. We set the options against your real needs and give you a reasoned recommendation, with the risks of each path. We need: your feedback on priorities and limits.
  4. Putting it in writing. We deliver minutes, recommended decisions and next steps. The scope of each session or block of work is agreed in writing before we start. We need: your confirmation of the scope.

04 · What you receive

Concrete deliverables

  • Advisory sessions with notes and recommended decisions
  • Comparison of options tailored to your case
  • Review of third-party proposals (vendors, other consultancies)
  • Cloud roadmap with next steps

05 · Typical scenarios

Situations where we help

These are common scenarios, not Nubyron client cases.

  • Choosing a provider for a new product

A team is about to launch a service and is torn between several clouds. We compare options against their product, team and growth path, and leave a documented recommendation.

  • Reviewing a proposal you received

A company receives a proposal from a third party and wants to know whether it is reasonable. We review scope, assumptions and gaps, and explain what to ask before signing.

  • Ongoing support for a small team

A team with no Cloud specialist needs to raise questions regularly. We agree periodic sessions to work through decisions as they come up.

06 · Platforms and technologies

On the provider you already use

“Cloud consulting and advisory” on the platform you already use or want to move to: the service answers what your business needs.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

07 · For consultancies and tech teams

Specialist capacity for your projects

For consultancies, software factories and technology teams, we provide Cloud judgement as reinforcement inside a specific project: an architecture review, a provider comparison or a technical second opinion. It is agreed as a work package with a written scope.

08 · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are you independent from providers?

We work with several platforms and recommend based on your case. We do not claim commercial agreements with any provider.

Can we hire single sessions?

Yes, that is possible. We agree it in the scope based on what you need.

What access do you need?

Often none: advisory work runs on conversations and documents. If we need to look at your environment, we ask for read-only permissions and define them in writing before we start.

Can you compare AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and OCI?

Yes. We apply the same criteria to every platform and measure them against your case, not against a generic checklist.

How do we engage you, and what happens afterwards?

We start with a conversation and agree a written scope, whether a single session, a block of work or an ongoing arrangement. At the end you keep the material and decide whether to continue.
