Cloud cost optimisation
Understand what you spend and cut the unnecessary, prioritising by risk.
Your Cloud bill keeps rising and it is unclear why, or how much of it is truly needed. Cutting blindly can break something important.
AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OCI. We work inside your accounts and agree the scope in writing before we start.
01 · The problem
Problems we solve
- The bill arrives at month end and nobody can explain why it differs from the previous month.
- Test and development environments stay switched on overnight and at weekends.
- There are oversized servers that were left that way just in case, and nobody has looked at them since.
- There are no tags or alerts, so spend cannot be split between products or teams.
When it fits
- Your Cloud bill grows faster than your business
- Nobody can assign spend to products or teams
02 · How we help
What we do and what you get
We analyse your usage and tie it to what each service and team actually uses. We separate what is surplus from what keeps the service running, and propose changes ordered by impact and risk.
What you get
Spending decisions based on data, and a tidier environment where costs can be explained and tracked.
- Clarity: you know what you pay for, why and who uses it.
- Prudence: every adjustment carries its risk level, so you do not cut what keeps the service running.
- Follow-through: you are left with alerts and tags that help you spot early if the problem starts growing back.
- Easier conversations: spend can be explained to management or finance using data.
03 · Method
How we work, step by step
- Scope and access. We agree in writing which accounts are analysed. We need read-only access to billing and resources, which you create in your accounts.
- Understanding the spend. We break spend down by service, environment and team, and tie it to the real use of each component.
- Checking with you. Whatever looks surplus we validate with whoever knows the product. Something that seems forgotten may be critical, so we confirm before proposing anything.
- Plan by risk. We deliver the actions ordered by impact and risk. Your team applies the changes, or we do if it is agreed in writing.
04 · What you receive
Concrete deliverables
- Spend analysis by service and environment, and by team where tagging exists
- List of resources and settings open to adjustment, with their risk level
- Prioritised action plan
- Recommendations for tagging, alerts and cost tracking
05 · Typical scenarios
Situations where we help
These are common scenarios, not Nubyron client cases.
A bill that rises without explanation
Typical scenario: spend grows month after month and the team cannot pinpoint the cause with data.
Splitting costs between products
Typical scenario: a company with several products or customers needs to know what each one costs in order to set its prices.
Tidying up after a rushed phase
Typical scenario: after a launch or a migration, temporary resources remain that nobody has removed.

Frequently asked questions
How much will we save?
We do not promise a figure before seeing your data. After the analysis we tell you which adjustments look possible and at what risk.
Do you apply the changes?
Only if we agree it in writing. By default the analysis is read-only and your team validates any change.
What billing data do you need to see?
Usage and cost data for the agreed accounts, read-only. We do not need your customer data or access to the content of your applications.
Does it work the same on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and OCI?
The method is the same. Each platform has its own tools and pricing models, and we account for them. If you use several, we give you a combined view.
How is it commissioned, and what happens next?
It is commissioned as an analysis with a written scope. Afterwards you can apply the plan with your team, ask us for help on specific parts, or repeat the analysis later.
