DEVOPS AS A SERVICE
DIAGNOSTIC & SCENARIOS

Signals that this service resolves your bottlenecks

Deploying to production is a manual, stressful event (the dreaded "deployment Friday").

Creating new test environments takes days and requires operations intervention.

Nobody knows exactly how a server is configured ("it works on my machine").

Developers lack autonomy and depend on sysadmins to move forward.

Basic bugs and security flaws are caught in production, not in the pipeline.

You lack internal talent to modernise the lifecycle and aren't ready for a full-time DevOps hire.

WHAT WE DO

How we approach this engineering domain

01

Pipeline Automation (CI/CD)

We build automated paths that compile, test, and release your code without unnecessary human intervention, ensuring repeatable deployments.

02

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

We bring manual configuration into Terraform, OpenTofu or Ansible where it adds control, with reviewable changes and reproducible environments.

03

Dev and Ops Alignment

We grant developers autonomy (Self-Service) by building tools so they can test changes without relying on a sysadmin.

SCOPE & DELIVERABLES

What the technical work covers

01

Robust CI/CD Pipelines

Automated workflows in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar for testing and deployment.

02

Cloud Automation (IaC)

Terraform code to provision networks, databases, and compute predictably.

03

Environment Standardisation

We make Staging and Production as consistent and reproducible as practical through automation and IaC.

04

Deployment Strategies

Implementation of Blue/Green, Canary or Rolling strategies to reduce deployment risk and impact.

05

Injected Security

Automated scanning for vulnerabilities and secrets in code before deployment (Shift-Left).

06

Configuration Management

Centralised configuration and secrets with named, traceable access.

07

Ownership and documentation

We work in agreed accounts and repositories, record decisions and maintain runbooks so platform knowledge remains with the client.

OUTCOMES

Direct impact on production reliability

Reduce the time and friction required to move changes from development into production.

Reduce errors associated with manual server configuration.

Empower developers with autonomy to advance without infrastructure blockers.

Increase deployment confidence through automated testing and repeatable processes.

Maintain an auditable and disaster-replicable infrastructure.

METHODOLOGY

How we work alongside your team

1

Current flow audit

We map how code currently travels from IDE to Production and identify manual bottlenecks.

2

Backlog Prioritisation

We define 1-3 month technical goals, broken down into weekly tasks executed without disrupting your product roadmap.

3

Iterative Execution

We implement IaC and pipelines, integrating tightly into your version control and agile boards.

4

Knowledge Transfer

We don't create dependencies; we train your developers to understand and use the new flows.

DELIVERABLES

Code and runbooks that remain 100% in your hands

Fully documented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories.
Functional and time-optimised CI/CD pipelines.
Execution of the agreed technical backlog month over month.
Operational runbooks and developer usage guides.
A baseline and tracking for delivery metrics where sufficient data exists.
WHO THIS IS FOR

When it makes strategic sense to engage

This service is for you if:

  • Software companies needing to mature infrastructure without hiring a complete internal team yet.
  • Scaling startups whose manual processes can no longer support the workload.
  • Engineering teams where developers spend too much time dealing with infrastructure tasks.

We do not recommend it if:

  • Agencies building simple static websites with no real software lifecycle.
  • Companies unwilling to adopt version control or shift their working culture.
FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you interact with our internal team?

We work as a natural technical extension. We are not disconnected support; we join your ceremonies if needed, use your Jira/Linear, and share your Slack/Teams environment.

What access does Nubyron need to start?

We require access to the Cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) with infrastructure permissions, source code repositories, and the CI/CD platform. We operate under strict least-privilege and auditing principles.

How long does onboarding take?

Onboarding time depends on platform complexity and access availability. We start with an initial review and agree what can be safely taken on during the first few weeks.

Can you provide an anonymised practical example?

In projects with manual deployments, the work usually focuses on removing repetitive steps, introducing IaC and building reproducible pipelines. The expected result is less time, fewer errors and less dependence on manual knowledge; the concrete improvement depends on the starting point.

What is the pricing logic?

The service uses a monthly retainer based on capacity dedicated to the agreed technical backlog. A focused project or additional capacity is scoped and approved separately before work begins. We do not publish a universal figure because the required capacity depends on platform complexity, criticality and scope.

What is not included by default?

The service does not include product feature development, responsibility for systems outside the agreed scope or 24/7 on-call coverage. Out-of-hours support, a separate project or ownership of additional systems must be defined and agreed before being added.
