Find out where your cloud spend goes

Find out where your cloud spend goes. Upload the cost CSV or Excel from Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud and see which services weigh most and what to look at first. Everything runs in your browser: your file never leaves your computer.

01 · The tool

Three steps to see your spend

  1. Download your CSV or Excel

From Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud, in a minute.

  2. Drop it here

It is analysed in your browser: the file never leaves your computer.

  3. See your spend

How much you spend, on what, and where to look first.

Works with CSV, compressed CSV (.csv.gz) and Excel cost files from Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud (OCI), and with the open FOCUS format, grouped or not (if not grouped you only see the monthly total). It copes with different separators, decimals and encodings.

    02 · Scope

What it does and what it does not

    What it does

    • How spend is split across services.
    • Monthly trend and the change in the last complete month.
    • How much the three largest services weigh.
    • Where to look first, with no made-up savings figures.
    • A 2-page A4 report you can save as PDF from your browser.

    What it does not do

    • It promises no savings: it shows where to look, not how much you will save.
    • It does not measure real usage (CPU, memory) or discounts and reservations: a cost CSV does not contain them.
    • It cannot tell an unused resource from a used one: without an inventory only spend is visible.
    • It does not connect to your cloud or ask for credentials.
    • It does not replace an audit.

    03 · Privacy

    Check it yourself

    1. Open the browser tools (F12) and go to the Network tab. Load your CSV: no request carries your file. If you accepted analytics, you may only see an anonymous notice that the tool was used (its name, without your file or its data).
    2. Or switch off wifi or turn on airplane mode before dropping the file: the tool works the same.
    3. The file is read in the tab’s memory. It is not uploaded, not saved, and the tool uses no cookies or browser storage.
    4. The tool’s code contains no network calls (fetch, XHR or beacon) and you can read it in the browser tools.

An honest caveat: the page is downloaded from our server before you load anything, and what you load afterwards stays in this tab. “Start over” or closing the tab discards the data from memory, although we cannot force the browser to overwrite it instantly. This tool adds no analytics or cookies; the site’s cookie banner works as on every other page.
